Command hallucination is a type of auditory hallucination where a person hears a voice that gives them instructions or commands, which can range from benign (e.g., "stand up") to dangerous (e.g., to harm themselves or others). These commands are experienced as real perceptions but without any external stimulus, and the person may or may not comply with the instruction.
