ALRAUNE is a virtual pet simulator and interactive visual novel where you discover a mythical flower that eventually grows into a plant lady known as "Alraune." It's up to you to care for her, feed her, and talk to her as you explore the meaning of your lives together.

Alraune, meaning "Mandrake" in German, is also the protagonist's name in a novel of the same name. While modern depictions often portray her as a lustful monster, this game takes a wholesome(?) approach! (Just appeals to her sprites.)

Developed in RPG Maker MZ for the GMTK Game Jam 2024, ALRAUNE was created in just four days!

HOW TO PLAY

• This game supports full mouse control, the only way to play.
• You can press F4 to toggle fullscreen but we recommend playing at window mode for the best experience! 
• Use the Command Buttons (Water / Feed / Talk) when the icon pops up to interact with Alraune. Keeping her happy will make her feel good towards you!
• As you care for her, hearts will appear on her head. Click on them to pat her! Collect three hearts to advance to the next phase. The game has a total of three phases!
